Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Management organized a three days Induction Program on 30th Sept, 1st Oct 2019 & 3rd Oct. 2019.
It was successfully started under the able leadership of Dr. E. B. Khedkar, Vice -Chancellor – Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University along with the honorable Guest Mr. Sanjay Jolly – Life Energy Coach. During the Induction program Dr. E B Khedkar Vice Chancellor D Y Patil University and Director Dr. D Y Patil School of Management explained interesting aspects of Mother Sarasvati. He also shared his observation about lifestyle and profession of Japanese people and compared it with Indian Lifestyle. Guest Speaker of the program Dr. Sanjay Jolly talked about Maa Kaushalya and knowledge and also explained the importance of spiritual life .He compared human mind with diamonds saying that everybody has a diamond however every rough diamond needs to undergo process of cutting and polishing. Dr. Jolly also gave useful guidance to students for goal setting through various management activities.

Ltd.,Mr. Jashan Joshi- Talent Sourcing & Intelligence Z S Associates, Mr. Chandan Maheshwari- Senior Manager Criff Highmark Information Services Pvt. Ltd., Ms. Akshi Mallik- Manager Patents & Trademarks.
On the second day of the program Asst. VP of Axis bank Sh. Mukesh Raiborde talked about various aspects of Finance and Banking Sector. He also talked about career opportunities in banking sector. Second main speaker Mr. Jatin Joshi talked about behavior on Social media and skills sets necessary to be developed for being a successful Manager. He guided students about appropriate behavior on Social media like Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Another speaker Dr. Tomio Isogei Ex Managing Director of Sharp Ltd. Japan, explained about Indo Japan relations in very simple terms. He explained how India and Japan shared common culture in many aspects. He was very optimistic about bright future of India and Japan both and talked about economy of professional life in Japan. Post Lunch Senior Manager of Criff Highmark Credir Information services Chandan Maheshwari Sir told how the market is shifting towards virtual market and role of digitalization in such paradigm shift. Last but not the least Ms. Akshi Malik Asst. Manager Patents and Trademark explained about the procedure of patents trademarks and copyrights and their importance.
Mr. Sadashib Padhee VP HR Kirloskar Pneumatic company ltd. was the speaker on the third day of Induction program. He talked about millennial generation and present generation’s attachment towards technology. He mentioned the importance of Work life balance for today’s youth in present scenario.
Second speaker Dr. Goadara Pandu talked about the students’ needs to make some change to the great things in life. He also said that casual attitude increases negativity. He engaged the student and explained various things through group activity.
Post Lunch Dr. Parag Kalagar, Director Singhad Institute of Management was the Guest of Honor. He talked about the competencies and capabilities of students. He gave 4 F formulas Fine, Follow your heart Fight and Finish. He mentioned that this is the right time to change. Other sessions were about answering the various queries of students regarding Summer Internship and Placement queries, session was conducted by Training and Placement Officer Dr. Rachna Gaur . Head Librarian Ms. CharuSheela Gaikwad guided the students about the Library services & collection, Rules and Regulations to be followed. Program was ended with felicitation of guest, appreciation of Top Scorers and Faculty having highest result in both the semesters. Conclusion was done by Vote of Thanks given by Convener Prof. Chetan Khedkar, Anchoring was done by Dr. Shreekala Bachchao.
